DICOM Viewer Help
The DICOM Viewer is a viewer program only for Hitachi MR Imaging System that conforms to DICOM standards.
It can be used to display image data onto a computer from a CD that has been created with the CD-R writing function.
Caution
- The DICOM Viewer is NOT recommended for diagnostic interpretation.
- Data may become erased if the writing surface of a CD-R is exposed to sunlight. CD-Rs should be stored in a safe location.

3 Displaying an image
To display an image, click the series on the tree view. All of the images included in the series are loaded and displayed.
Since the image data for the examination file of studies for one patient is recorded on a storage media, one patient node is displayed on tree view.
Caution
File menu can not be used while images are being loaded.
4 Loading single images
From the menu bar, click [File] and then choose [Open DICOM file] to display the Open dialog box.
Select a file and click the [Open] button to view that image in the viewer. You can select multiple images by holding down the [Ctrl] key while clicking. Then, click the [Open] button to display the multiple selected images in the viewer.
Also, to display the image that falls within the overlap between two selected images, hold the [Shift] key while selecting two image files and then click the [Open] button.

5 Scrolling images
If the number of images loaded is greater than the number that can be displayed on the viewer, you can scroll the images to view those that are not displayed.
Use the scroll bar on the right edge of the Viewer window to scroll through the images. You can click either the
